MBLA were appointed by the North West Development Agency (NWDA) in February 2009 to work on a feasibility study for the potential conversion of St Peters church in Ancoats into a rehearsal base and intimate performance venue for the Halle Orchestra. The study is currently being used as a vehicle for obtaining funding approvals from the Arts Council, ERDF and NWDA with the aim of having the building operational by 2013.
