George Mills to retire

Posted: 1st April 2009

After 20 years as a partner and director of MBLA, George Mills will take a long planned and well earned retirement at the end of April 2009.  George has been instrumental in establishing MBLA as one of Manchester’s foremost architecture and urban design practices and he will leave in the knowledge that the strong philosophy and exemplary work he helped create will be carried forward. Co-directors, Ian Beaumont and Andy Avery, have worked together with George over the life of the practice and along with our associates, senior staff and team here at MBLA give our fondest best wishes to George.

George will continue his association with the office, keeping in contact with colleagues and key projects as a consultant to the practice.
