Manchester High School for Girls

Designed and constructed to a modest budget, Manchester High School for Girls’ assembly hall was refurbished during a summer recess.The existing hall was uninspiring and did not reflect the school’s aspirations for its students.  The refurbished hall and stage was re-lined and indirect lighting installed to light the ceiling, and make the space appear larger and more dynamic.  The seating was designed to be largely retracted to allow the space for a variety of functions.
