MBLA won 3 awards at the 2009 Manchester Society of Architects Design Awards in the following categories:
Walkden Gateway (Community – commendation)
Picton Health & Children’s Centre (Community – commendation)
Broad Road Apartments (Residential – commendation)
A special presentation was also made to retiring MBLA director, George Mills, in recognition of his significant contribution to the architecture of Manchester and region.
