Our central Manchester studio provides the base for our team and for meetings with our clients, consultants and contractors. The open-plan nature of our workspace engenders a studio atmosphere, encouraging collective working and cross fertilisation of ideas. Set within the Ancoats Urban Village heritage site, the building activates a difficult and restricted site, only 11m wide but 60m long. MBLA’s new offices are at ground and first floor, with parking also at ground level. Above the industrial appearance of the base of the building which contains MBLA’s studio, there are a further six storeys of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.
The building project was developed by MBLA in a joint venture with City South Developments.
