MBLA were comissioned by David Wilson Homes to undertake a detailed study of Tranmere town centre to asses existing housing typology, infrastructure and landscape. From this study a strategy emerged which sought to integrate the area with our masterplan proposals for Birkenhead to the north. The masterplan proposed mixed use development centred around a re-vitalized docks and strong east west linkages formed by new development fronting a series of linear landscapes and boulevards.
