Doncaster Gate Starts on Site

Construction work has commenced on MBLA’s apartment scheme for Great Places Housing Group in Rotherham. Doncaster Gate is a relatively busy road and forms the northern boundary and only access point into the site. A linear block returns into the site and contains twenty apartments across four floors sitting above twenty parking spaces laid out at ground level. The scheme contains 8 no 4 person/2 bed apartments and 12 no 3 person/2 bed apartments arranged in a linear manner so each apartments is serviced from a gallery access/amenity deck reached via a single core containing stairs and a lift. The scheme will satisfy code 4 standards and is on site and due for completion in 2012.
